Photos, Stories, and Other Stuff
Don't see your family represented on this site? We are always looking for new stories and photos to add to our collection, and we encourage anyone to contribute. We focus mostly on the Blocksburg area, but we will also accept images that depict Bridgeville, Fort Seward, Alderpoint, and Zenia. Besides stories and photographs, we are also interested in maps, postcards, newspaper articles and advertisements, old government records as well as anything in video or audio formats.
Technical Requirements and File Formats
If you are submitting a story, please paste it in the body of your email message. Other file formats like Microsoft Word are often difficult for us to open.
Images can be emailed as attachments. We scan our images at 300 dpi and save them in the JPEG format. We would prefer to receive images in this format, but we will take whatever you can muster. You may also send copies of images (should be photo quaility) to: The Blocksburg History Project, P.O. Box 122, Blocksburg CA 95514.
