JavaScript is a scripting language that allows Web authors to make their pages more "dynamic." We've used a "JavaScript rollover" on this site to allow you to quickly view the backs of Myrtle's postcards.

Unfortunately, though, JavaScript doesn't work the same in every browser. This script should work to its complete potential in Netscape Navigator 3.0+ and Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 (just make sure you have JavaScript turned on!). If you have a less popular or older browser, you can still view the front of each postcard and then click through to another page with an easy-to-read text version of the backside.
