Blocksburg Raises Funds for a Jail

$150 JAIL - We learn from Mr. Taylor, of Blocksburg, that the people of that town have contributed $150 toward the construction of a log jail. Our informant says that it is one of the needs of the community, as some of the youths are getting beyond the control of their natural protectors and guardians.
